Mike Skinner and Lily Allen’s musical love child, Niko B, has arrived to feed his hungry fanbase with yet another nonchalantly witty jingle, entitled International Baby.

The Trey McNair-produced single, offers a contemporary funky-feel which acts as perfect foundation for Niko B’s undeniably comical, creative and relatable rhymes to slide atop. “International Baby” launched alongside a Lucy Hickling-directed visual, shot in Niko’s hometown of Newport Parnell that shows the rapper fulfilling a lifelong ambition of riding a horse, playing around in an empty pool and handing out his personally designed toothbrush merch – a cheeky shameless plug if you ever did see one. Mirroring his lyrical themes, the music video combines the average aspects of life with the unorthodox. This can be seen through a cameo from “Pasta King”, his stint as a lifeguard eating from a bag full of croissants and naturally, opening the video smoking a “Twix”.

Speaking on the release, Niko B said:

“I wanted to make a song that you could bop around to while standing on your kitchen table, Trey McNair sent me the beat and it was PERFECT. In the lyrics I speak about loads of things personal to me and also things that regular kids my age could relate to for example pasta king, how expensive clothes are, I even have a lyric about Butlins in this song. When I get married I’ll probably sprint down the aisle to this song.”
