Zimbawe’s spiraling songstress FRYA (pronounced Fre-ya) has unveiled her highly anticipated debut album titled, ‘Balance’.
Following on from a hugely successful 2021; more specifically bagging a placement on Netflix’s hit series ‘Blood & Water’ with four of her tracks – which are actually on the album – FRYA has delivered a thought-provoking and heart-warming album that explores various parts of her life. Featuring stand-out singles ‘Changes’, ‘B.D.E’, and ‘Back It Up’, the promising talent takes us on an intimate journey through parts of her life. Describing her sound as “The modern African woman: Versatile, powerful, and bold”, we venture through a selection of textured backdrops as her signature rich tone takes centre stage throughout.
