California artist SiR has come through with his latest album, ‘HEAVY’. The 16 song tracklist boasts star studded features while the artist returns to a first full length release since 2019.

Bursting onto the scene with tracks such as ‘John Redcorn’ and ‘You Can’t Save Me’, SiR has demonstrated a penchant for combining elements of R&B and Rap throughout his career. Having previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Smino amongst others, the artist has called upon a new list of heavy hitters for this project, including Isaiah Rashad and Anderson .Paak.

Speaking on his latest release, SiR stated:

“I think 2020 was the worst year of my life. I went through addiction issues, went through a relationship problem. Me and my wife were about to get a divorce, and we had a baby. It was the most pressure I had ever felt in my life.

My life was in shambles, and the music was coming out phenomenal. I was surprised. But then, once I got to the other side of my problems, it started to get even better. That’s where the album’s coming from. It’s coming from a place where you’re going to see both sides.”
