For this weeks installment of DJ Firestarr’s ‘Influential Records’ podcast, he’s called on the likes of Sheffield’s very own Deep Green to represent.

Talking all things music, the pair discuss Deep Green’s forthcoming project ‘Trap Hop’ which is set to drop soon whereby he states; “I named it Trap Hop because its a genre I created, its not just hip-hop, I’m a versatile artist”. When selecting his influential records he picks Blade Brown’s infamous ‘Bags & Boxes’, Nines Church ‘Road to Hollywood’, and crediting the landlord Giggs’s ‘Walk In Da Park – Cut Up Bag’ – “That’s the record that made him want to rap”.
