Boris Johnson is set to announce his resignation as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
His resignation comes on the back of multiple cabinet ministers pressuring Johnson to resign with more than 50 ministers also quitting in protest.
A No 10 spokesperson said: “The prime minister will make a statement to the country today.”
