Stormzy has announced that his third album will drop sometime this year.
Kicking off his “Heavy is the Head” tour, the South-London rapper broke the bews to the crowd in Cardiff, Wales on Sunday March 13.
During the show the crowd were shown a video of Stormzy in the studio recording the upcoming LP followed by the message: “Album 3. Coming 2022.”
Fans who attend the tour will be given the first chance to pre-order the album on CD via official merch stands at the venues and will also receive a QR coded lanyard plus the option to buy a limited edition t-shirt.
A press statement called it, “ a personal gesture of gratitude to his loyal and supportive fans who have waited almost two years for the UK shows.”
The news puts caps off nearly 3 years of sporadic music activity following his 2019 project, “Heavy Is The Head”, which peaked at Number 1 in the Albums Charts.
